Ahlgrens Hotell

    Cookie Policy

How cookies and similar technology are used on the Ahlgrens Hotell website.

    About cookies

Cookies and similar storage technologies are used on many websites to save information in your browser. This policy describes how cookies and similar technology are used on our website.

We distinguish between technology that is strictly necessary for a service you request and technology that requires your consent.

    Strictly necessary technology

Certain technology is necessary for the website to function technically and to maintain security. Such technology may be used without obtaining your consent.

Services and external resources on the website

Our website uses services and external resources that may store or access information in your browser. The exemption from consent applies only to the specific storage or access that is strictly necessary for a service you request. We do not classify all cookies from a provider as necessary or consent-based without basis.

    Booking engine

Sirvoy is loaded as an embedded booking engine on the home page and booking pages. When the booking engine loads, Sirvoy may use cookies and similar technology in your browser.

    Contact form

Contact forms from an external provider are loaded on our contact pages. When the form loads, the provider may use cookies and similar technology.

    Google Maps

Google Maps is loaded on the contact page only after you actively choose to load the map. You can choose to decline loading the map. The map can also be disabled using the button next to the map. Your choice is not stored permanently and resets on navigation, language switch and page reload according to the current implementation.

Disabling the map does not withdraw data that has already been transferred or automatically delete Google's cookies.

    Fonts

The website's own fonts are delivered locally from our own server and are not loaded from external font services.

    Link to Booking.com

Booking.com is an external link, not an embedded widget. When you click the link to Booking.com you leave our website and Booking.com's own rules apply.

    Website platform visitor statistics

The platform that hosts and publishes our website automatically collects visitor statistics. This includes session and event identifiers, timestamps, the page address, page title, referring address, browser information and the measured time the page has been visible. The statistics are used to measure visits and use of the website. This collection is handled by the platform and cannot be blocked from the website.

The platform uses a first-party cookie to recognise your session. See the cookie table below.

    Your choices

We show an information banner about cookies on your first visit. The banner is a notice only — it is not a consent choice and does not start or stop any statistics or marketing technology. You can dismiss it with the "I understand" button, and it stays closed for the rest of your browser session. A new browser session shows the notice again.

The optional Google Maps map on the contact page is controlled by the buttons next to the map. You can choose to load the map, decline it, or disable it after it has been loaded. That choice is not stored permanently and resets on navigation, language switch and page reload.

What we can technically block: the optional Google Maps map is not loaded until you actively choose to load it. The website platform's built-in visitor statistics cannot be blocked from the website.

    Cookies on the website

The table below lists a cookie we have identified on the website. The validity period refers to how long the cookie is stored in your browser, not how long any collected statistics are stored by the provider.

    NameDomainTypePurposeValidityControl
__vibe_sidahlgrenshotell.seFirst-party cookie with set validity periodSession identifier for the website platform's visitor statistics30 minutes from the last time the script set or renewed the cookieNot controlled from the website — collected by the platform

The 30-minute validity period applies to the cookie in your browser. It is not a session cookie that automatically disappears when you close the browser; the script renews the validity when it sets the cookie again, for example on page views and when statistics are sent.

    Your control

You can manage and delete cookies at any time in your browser's settings. Please note that certain technology may be needed for the website to function.
